Battleship USS Iowa Museum
Impressive battleship in function during the Second World War, to be discovered with the family, being the only one that can be visited in California.
Here's an experience for the whole family: this very impressive battleship is the only one that can be visited in California. Commissioned during World War II, the USS Iowa carried Franklin D. Roosevelt to Algeria in 1943, before the first crucial Allied meeting at the Tehran Conference, where the president met with Stalin and Churchill. The following year, the ship was assigned to the Pacific Fleet and bombed beachheads in Micronesia.
