Hotel with pools in an unbeatable location at Disneyland with comfortable and spacious rooms and suites

Formerly known as Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, the hotel's 500 rooms and suites are inspired by the Californian waterfront - and the establishments that have set up shop there. Although comfortable and spacious, the facilities are no longer state-of-the-art: the hotel's location is unbeatable. Beware of the pools, as maintenance operations are scheduled at certain times of the year. In addition, major renovation work is scheduled to take place throughout 2024.

Great place to stay. A few things not open due to construction.

This hotel was really nice and the staff were helpful. The rooms are decent size and have great views. If you get the theme park view at night it's even better. During fireworks at the park you can go to the fireworks viewing floor and see them from the hotel. The wrost part was at night when everyone is coming back from the park the elevators are very slow and there can be a long wait to get back to your room. Overall staff were Greta and the rooms were clean. The best part is you can go through the Grand California hotel across the street if your staying at a Disney hotel and get faster access to California adventure park. Update 2024 went to the new Pixar place. It is really cool update but I would wait to stay there until construction is completely done. At 630am you hear what sounds like the 7 little dwarfs working giving you a nice wake up call. They have Pixar characters that stop by and I'm sure they will add more in the future.

Location is pretty good. Prepare to walk, although I thought this was very near Disneyland close but far. It’s still quite a walk. The early access to California Adventure! Makes this place worth it! Disneyland doesn’t really do early access like California adventure. California adventure is across the street through a side hotel gate YOU need your phone at ALL times! If you’re going during a peak season like we did the lighting passes are 100% worth it. I disliked all the food. I MeAN all the food! The shops are few and far between. Bring a backpack! And a power pack! Good shoes are requirement and elders you will probably need to rent an electric scooter the walking is immense. Bring snacks in your suitcase or shop before you get to hotel. Hotel food was not great. Everything is 10-30$ I mean everything. Bring EAR PLUGS for young kids or any kids who don’t like loud noise. A lot the rides have loud music or speakers. Bring headphones! And extra iPad or phone for entertainment peak hours mean peak wait times! StarWars lure you over with a 30 min wait time. That ride took the full 90 min wait time! This hotel has a great pool and cool slide for kids. Small hot tub. Another perk you can see the fireworks from this hotel. Cost of self parking is 40$ flipping dollars a DAY! Your hotel is not cheap nor is the food. 187$ for 4 days even though we had two half days seems excessive. My AC was just okay I tried calling service desk with no answer. So my room stayed 65 degrees the whole time. Room cleaning was excellent and cute! Overall the employees were nice. My biggest problem was checkout when an employee refused to drop let me checkout without my friend who was paying for parking. You have her name, card. Not and easy experience. We had one front desk workers that showed us the entrance to California adventure very helpful an nice. California adventure early access at 7:30 helped us enjoy at least two rides early before the park got really busy. If they offered better food or had store nearby I might have gave them one more star but we paid a lot for this vacation and the both theme parks are trying to hard to play top chef to a bunch of kids who like nuggets and burgers. Remember you need to pass security before entering any park. The monorail was helpful for Disneyland because regardless of how early you enter MOST rides start at 8:00 am so lightening link early! Mobile pay was obnoxiously long. Disneyland shutting down popular rides in middle of the day killed our vibe we waited
