Situated by the lake in Bagnoles-de-l’Orne, just past the casino when you arrive from the Andaines forest, this restaurant is distinguished by its English pub appearance. Well-known, the place is very popular with regulars who like the simplicity of its offerings: hearty salads, gourmet sauerkraut and planchas, deliciously prepared fish and mussels, as well as dishes that have made the place’s reputation, such as the hearty Camembert fondue. Bonus: Café de Paris is open on Sunday evenings. We love it!

Le pain était dur, il devait être de la veille.
Petite odeur vieillotte dans le restaurant.
La souris d’agneau présentée par le serveur comme la spécialité maison était très moyenne, froide et sans goût.
Néanmoins le serveur était sympa et la sangria réussie quoique petite.
