The Shell Island Resort is a 3-star hotel located in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. It's ideally located on the beachfront, just 2 miles from Interstate 74 and close to downtown Wilmington and the University of North Carolina. The hotel's contemporary suites offer ocean views from their balconies and feature a separate living room with sofa bed, flat-screen TV and DVD player. All rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi and a kitchenette. Superior suites have direct access to the beach and pool. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast in its friendly restaurant, as well as indoor and outdoor pools, a playground, a beach volleyball court and laundry facilities. Parking is free, but large vehicles such as trailers and buses are not allowed. The hotel is entirely non-smoking and does not accept pets.
