Since 2022, the Bloomington Gold Festival - an annual automotive gathering that attracts many enthusiasts - has been revived after a long hiatus in its hometown. The event features the finest GT sports cars from American manufacturer Chevrolet, namely the Corvette and Camaro models. The event takes place on the Illinois State University campus, including the Redbird Arena, Horton Field House and Bone Student Center areas. 2023 celebrates the 50th edition of this event.
