Bloomington Aviation Museum displaying a collection of fighter aircraft models and some commercial and private aircraft.
The Bloomington Aviation Museum is run by volunteers. The collection on display is mainly fighter aircraft, but also includes a few airliners and private aircraft. Among the highlights are a Bell Sea Cobra, a Bell UH-1 Huey, an F-14 Tomcat (Tom Cruise's in Top Gun!) and a Mc Donnell Douglas A-4 Skyhawk. In addition, there are 2 helicopters and, during the Open Cockpit Days, a Convai 880 flight simulator. These open days are usually held once a month.
