The Market Street Inn is a charming bed and breakfast located in Springfield. This Victorian property, built in 1892, offers 8 guest rooms spread over 3 levels. All rooms are en suite and most have fireplaces. Communal areas include two sitting rooms, a large dining room and an entrance hall, all with original woodwork and fireplaces. Guests can choose to have breakfast in the main dining room or prepare it themselves in their rooms. In addition to the main house, the Market Street Inn also offers two suites in an annex called the Carriage House. These suites offer private access, a kitchenette, off-street parking and other amenities. One of the suites, called Hunt Club, is particularly popular thanks to its king-size bed, private bathroom with walk-in shower and jetted tub, two fireplaces and private terrace. Guests can enjoy many nearby activities, such as visiting the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library, golfing, wine tasting at local vineyards and exploring Route 66. The Market Street Inn is also ideally located for business travelers, with special weekday rates.
