One of the country's most important museums, home to over 30,000 works of art of diverse inspirations in St. Louis.

This is one of the most important museums in the country. Built for the 1904 World's Fair, it houses more than 30,000 works of art of various inspirations. Gustave Courbet and Jean-Honoré Fragonard rub shoulders with Modigliani, Gauguin and Degas. A great place where you can easily spend several hours. Note that in front of it, you will find The Apotheosis of Saint Louis, a sublime bronze statue representing the French king Louis IX, after whom the city is named. Restaurant overlooking Forest Park and café on site.
