ROUTE 66 STATE PARK
Park featuring a large natural area with numerous hiking, horse-riding and cycling trails, as well as a museum
The Inn Steiny, a former truck stop dating from 1935, houses a museum that tells, among other things, the story of the old Times Beach resort that once thrived on the park's site. It also showcases the history of the iconic road and includes many signs and memorabilia from the road's restaurants and hotels. The park includes a piece of old Route 66 as well as a historic bridge over the Meramec River. The park is also a large natural area with many hiking, horseback riding and biking trails.
