MUNGER MOSS MOTEL
Clean, simple, single-storey building with swimming pool and parking space in Lebanon.
The warm neon glow of the Munger Moss Motel seems to point to the establishment. This beautiful sign has become iconic on Route 66. In 1930, the Munger Moss family moved from their café near the famous Devil's Elbow to Lebanon. He founded this motel in 1946. It lived through the golden age of Route 66 and has stood the test of time ever since. It is clean, simple, on one level, with a pool and of course the inevitable parking space in front of the room. The atmosphere seems to have remained intact for all these years.
