It is here, in 1924, that the concept of drive-through was born. A particularity that the establishment proudly displays on its advertising panel. However, it should be noted that the city's annals do not mention the establishment until 1928. It is then possible that the owners claimed an earlier date to avoid a commercial dispute with the national chain Maid-Rite, based in Iowa and founded in 1926. As you might expect, the food here is very classic... but history takes precedence here.
