Museum opened in 1938, located on a hill overlooking the Tiawah Valley in Claremore
Will Rogers (1879-1935), stage and screen legend of the 1930s, was born in Hoologah, 13 miles northwest of Claremore. Built where Will planned to retire, the site was dedicated in 1938. The building sits on a hill overlooking the Tiawah Valley. Inside, artifacts, furnishings, videos, and photographs trace the life and legend of the local boy. Outside the museum you will find Will's tomb.
