A place worth visiting for music lovers, dedicated to gospel, jazz and blues, tracing the history of these musics
Housed in a beautiful 1931 Art Deco train station building, the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame traces the history of gospel, jazz and blues music. Its library holds extensive data on the featured artists: Chet Baker, Earl Bostic, Barney Kessel, Jimmy Rushing, Lee Wiley, etc. (all Oklahoma natives). An art gallery completes the museum. Concerts are frequently held in the auditorium. It was closed for renovation at the end of 2022.
