HERITAGE EXPRESS TROLLEY
A streetcar that can accommodate up to 48 passengers, offering a seasonal ride from El Reno'sHeritage Park neighborhood to downtown.
From 1911 to 1947, El Reno had a trolley service. This service was a terminal of the El Reno Interurban Railway (later the Oklahoma Railway Company) that served Oklahoma City. This service ceased after World War II. The surviving old streetcar dates from 1924 and has a capacity of 48 passengers. It runs on a single-track line and offers a seasonal ride through El Reno's Heritage Park area, where you can visit the Ecomuseum and some historic buildings, downtown and the shopping district (South Bickford Ave).
