STAFFORD AIR & SPACE MUSEUM
A museum where you can see about 20 different types of aircraft, including a Russian MiG and an F16, as well as a Titan II rocket
This museum is named after Weatherford-born General Thomas Patten Stafford (1930/-), who participated in many space missions. There are about 20 aircraft of all kinds, including a Russian MiG and an F16, as well as a Titan II rocket from the Gemini missions, models of the lunar modules and even a rock sample brought back from the Moon by the Apollo astronauts. The Rose & Tom Luczo Educational Center houses the Space Plane Theater.
