This museum houses an important collection of original skeletons and bronze replicas of prehistoric creatures
Specializing in the Mesozoic period (Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous), better known as the age of the dinosaurs, this museum is a reminder that eastern New Mexico is home to many fossils. Among the exhibits is a large collection of original skeletons and bronze replicas of prehistoric creatures. Among them is a skeleton of Torvosaurus, one of the largest predators ever to have existed on Earth. The skeleton is 12 metres long.
