THE OLDEST HOUSE
This house, dating from the 13th century and displaying some objects, is an important vestige of a past way of life
Several cities in the country are disputing the location of the oldest house. In Santa Fe, this house dates, according to several studies, to the 13th century. One part is attached to a souvenir store, while the other part remains a unique remnant of the type of building once common in the city - part Indian, part Spanish, low-ceilinged and crude, with dirt floors and thick adobe walls. A few artifacts are on display. Whether or not it is the oldest house in the country, it remains an important remnant of a past way of life.
