This museum contains more than 20,000 works of art, paintings, photographs, sculptures, engravings and drawings of contemporary art
This museum celebrated its centennial in 2017. It exhibits works from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day, including originals by the masters of Taos (the New Mexico city where a large artistic colony was established). The artists of Los Cinco Pintores and Georgia O'Keeffe are prominent. The Saint Francis Auditorium, located in the museum, hosts various cultural and musical events, including the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, usually in July.
