Lindy's Diner is located at the corner of Route 66 (Central Avenue) and5th St. Right across the street from another historic landmark, the KiMo Theater, Lindy's was born as the Coney Island Cafe in 1929, making it one of the oldest operating restaurants on Route 66. In 1960, it was renamed Lindy's Diner, but has retained its vintage atmosphere ever since. On the menu are mouth-watering burgers, including the Ultimate Burger (with bacon, cheese, mayonnaise, avocado and fried egg), but also delicious Greek and Mexican dishes.
