The Gathering of Nations is a large Native American gathering designed to promote the culture and tradition of the various Native American peoples. In total, more than 560 tribes from the United States and 220 from Canada come to Albuquerque each year. The event lasts three days. Among the highlights, the Indian Traders Market, which brings together more than 800 artists and artisans, and the election of Miss Indian World, responsible for representing all nations.
