The rim trail is all paved so we love the accessibility!!! There is a shuttle also but not sure the accessibility of those.

2nd trip to the Grand Canyon and it's just as amazing each time.

Absolutely breathtaking and photos don’t do it any justice.

Would honestly skip the visitor center and focus on hikes and trails the next time we come. It’s cool and is a good experience, but the views along desert drive were far superior in our opinion. And the watch tower is a must. That being said, we didn’t take a bus to Hermits Roost, so going to reserve ultimate preference till we can see that.

A definite must see for everyone. Would recommend a stroller or pack for toddlers.

The Grand Canyon is a place that truly deserves its iconic status. Everyone should experience its awe-inspiring beauty at least once in their lifetime. The park itself is beautifully maintained, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.

Following a park ranger's recommendation, we started our exploration at Desert View Watchtower. This turned out to be a fantastic tip, as it was noticeably less crowded than other viewpoints. Even with fewer crowds, the sheer scale and majesty of the canyon are difficult to grasp in photos. It's a humbling experience to stand there and try to comprehend the vastness that stretches out before you.

Hermos lugar y hermosa experiencia poder caminar y sentir la energía de esta tierra. Es muy diferente como se aprecia en cada avistamiento. Hay cobro por entrar y hay hotel muy pequeño adentro y también puedes acampar.

I have to admit, the Grand Canyon was a spectacular sight - it definitely exceeded my expectations.

We arrived at the Southern Rim by car and purchased the $35 pass which allows you to visit the park multiple times for up to 7 days. Parking was a bit of a chore; there are multiple lots but the layout is not clearly depicted in the park map nor on Google Maps. To reduce your stress, I'd recommend arriving early in the day (before 9am) or later in the day (after 3pm) to increase the chance of finding a good parking spot.

Once on campus, there are a few locations to be aware of. There is a visitor center (small & boring, you can stamp your Park passport here), a market village (grocery store, dining hall / restaurant), lodging, gift shops, and a geology museum. There is a free shuttle service connecting all these things!! Please save your walking energy and use the shuttle to get around.

At the Southern Rim, there is an extensive rim trail that parallels the canyon for several miles. The shuttle service parallels the rim trail and makes stops at all the good vantage points. I'd recommend riding the shuttle to a few stops to take in the entirety of the canyon.

We took the shuttle all the way to "Hermit's Rest" and it was a bit disappointing.

Breathtaking! Excellent place to hike, explore, take photo. I will definitely be returning! Cost is $35 into the park. They have a gift shop and a coffee shop. Bus transportation to different areas of the park and guided tours. You can also explore in your own. We visited in April and the weather was absolutely amazing!

We visited in mid-April and everything was open and available. The weather was great for hiking, and they had many trails to challenge you, or make it easy to see the sights (Rim trail). Arriving early is a great idea as the clarity of the view was at its best. We arrived at the East entrance and it was a breeze to get in and lined us up nicely to stop at many viewpoints before getting the main visitor center.
I’ve never been to a national park that didn’t deliver and this is no exception. It is interesting and very well maintained. The park was probably not as busy as it can get, but it was a bit of a hunting game to get a parking spot at the visitor centre on a Thursday morning. I can only imagine what it would be like on a busy weekend, so you might aim to get here first and then walk or bus around from there.
We had a really enjoyable day and put many miles in walking and exploring so be sure to wear good footwear. If you plan on hiking this is even more important. Bring a lunch with you, water, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Also don’t forget your common sense. I’d hate to see fencing go up everywhere to save people from trying to get too close to the edge. There are plenty of good viewpoints and really the only way to absorb it is to take a trail down to grasp the depth that is before you. I did the south Kaibab trail to ooh ahh point and that was a decent hike, but not nearly enough. Wish I had more time here to explore more.
Every national park I’ve been to is awesome in its own way, while the Grand Canyon doesn’t disappoint, I do think other parks are awesome too, so don’t end your journey here. Happy travels!

Incredible proof of a global flood. Proof of a young Earth with no erosion between the layers, sea creature fossils towards the bottom layers and land creatures towards the top. Creatures fossilized in the middle of eating or giving birth (signaling a single fast catastrophic event). Even fossilization itself is a rapid process.

So enjoy this place for what it truly is.

My wife and I had the most incredible experience at the Grand Canyon during our two-day visit. On the first day, we explored the rim trail with our granddaughter and youngest son, capturing unforgettable moments and enjoying a delightful lunch at the Yavapai Tavern (separate review).

However, it was the second day that truly took our breath away. Arriving early to witness the sunrise, we were greeted by a magical scene that left us in awe. The canyon's beauty illuminated by the golden hues of the morning light was a sight to behold. We captured stunning photos and videos, cherishing every moment of the serene atmosphere.

Visiting in April, the park was considerably less crowded in the early morning, allowing us to appreciate the canyon's grandeur in peace. Despite the chilly temperatures, the experience was worth every second. We recommend bringing long sleeves, hats, and sunscreen to stay comfortable during the cooler hours.

Overall, our time at the Grand Canyon was nothing short of amazing. The opportunity to witness such natural beauty and experience the tranquility of sunrise will remain etched in our memories forever. We highly recommend this breathtaking destination to anyone seeking an unforgettable adventure amidst nature's wonders.

We did a day trip to the Canyon. The wait to get into the park was an hour plus with only half a mile to go. There are five windows, but one was closed and only for those buying tickets in advance, which I recommend you do. If anyone in the car has to use the restroom while waiting, there is one on the right side of the road not too far from the entrance. You could walk there and back to your car with no problem. The people at the desk are welcoming but you can tell they are encouraged not to rush so there isn't more traffic entering the park. There is parking in many different areas and plenty of trails for different levels of hikers, plan your choice ahead of time and arrive as early as you can. We saw elk during our stay which was the best part and walked the trail of time for is convenience, parking and magical sights.

Grand Canyon National Park : Incroyable !
Le Grand Canyon du Grand Canyon National Park mérite largement son nom. C’est un endroit incroyable. Y faire une promenade est assurément un bon moyen d’en prendre plein les yeux : des couleurs, de la profondeur, du relief : époustouflant ! A voir impérativement !
