HISTORIC GRAND CANYON VILLAGE
Walk back in time while admiring the South Rim at Grand Canyon National Park.
On September 17, 1901, the steam train arrived for the first time on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The first decade that followed saw the construction of the luxurious El Tovar Hotel and stores such as Hopi House and Verkamp's Curios. Others followed. Today, walking through this unspoiled village is a great way to step back in time while admiring the South Rim. In addition to the buildings above, don't miss Birght Angel Lodge, Buckey O'neil Cabin, Lookout Studio and Kolb Studio.
