Station railways Goffs

The building is a replica of the historic railroad station that operated at the same location from 1902 to 1956. Denis Casebier, head of the Mojave Desert Heritage & Cultural Association, initiated the project in 2008. It houses a library designed to process, protect and make available to the community a unique, vast and ever-growing volume of collected materials related to the history of the Mojave Desert. It is an annex of the Mojave Cultural Center, which is located about a quarter mile away.
