The Old Log Cabin Restaurant (former gas station) was built in 1926. When Route 66 was repositioned to a new alignment in the 1940s, the entire restaurant was raised on jacks and rotated 180 degrees to face the new route. The facade is unremarkable, but the retro interior is worth a look. Checkered tablecloths, chrome chairs and a collection of "kitscheries" dedicated to the Route. On the menu are sandwiches, salads, hamburgers, soups, but also some dishes like beef with mushrooms.
