Close to downtown Rockport, this house built in 1851 became a Bed & Breakfast 40 years ago. The bright, spacious rooms have been renovated, and the décor is far more modern than the outside of the house would suggest: here, there's no carpet, but parquet or patterned tiles. We particularly like the vintage furniture, which takes us back to the 1950s. The owners know how to spoil their guests, from the fireplace in the living room to the homemade jam at breakfast.
