THE PAPER HOUSE
House made entirely of recycled newspapers with furniture made from daily and weekly newspapers in Rockport
Mr. Elis F. Stenman started building his second home in Rockport in 1922. Fun fact: this house is made entirely of recycled newspapers, hence its name! Even the furniture is made from daily and weekly newspapers, which seems hard to believe when you look at the delicate details of the clock, piano, table and storage furniture. Today, Edna Beaudoin, Elis F. Stenman's niece, takes care of the house. The house was turned into a museum in the 1930s.
