PILGRIM HALL MUSEUM
Important collection of objects, furniture, paintings and documents for a glimpse of life on board the Mayflower
The visit immerses you in the adventures of the 102 Mayflower passengers who landed in the city in 1620, and features an important collection of objects, furniture, paintings and documents that provide an excellent insight into life on board the Mayflower and later in the Plymouth colony. The museum houses a portrait of Edward Winslow, a passenger on the Mayflower who became governor of the colony, the only portrait of a Pilgrim made during his lifetime. You can also admire what remains of the Sparrow Hawk, the ship that ran aground on Cape Cod in 1626.
