Two and a half hour hike to the top of Mount Major for a panoramic view of Lake Winnipesaukee
There are several hiking trails to explore the area. The Brook Trail Look offers a two and a half hour hike - about 3.7 miles - that will take you to the top of Mount Major for a panoramic view of Lake Winnipesaukee. The trail is of medium difficulty. The view, once you get up there, is well worth the effort! The 1.5 mile Boulder Loop Trail also allows you to reach the summit by taking the trail that goes south.
