A beautiful lake, in the middle of the Franconia Notch State Park, where it is good to fish and swim on sunny days. The beach is well laid out, with snacks, grocery store, picnic tables and barbecues for barbecuing. To venture as close as possible to the mountains, which here have their feet in the water, it is also possible to rent pedal boats. Please note that lifeguards are only present from mid-June to September from 9am to 6pm. The bathing area itself is not very large, but is sufficient for a short swim.
