This historic Federal-style house, in the heart of Portland's West End, has been completely renovated, but retains its charm, not least thanks to its eight cozy rooms, all different shapes and sizes. Dale, the owner, is a former guidebook author. He tried out thousands of hotels before opening his B&B! The service is excellent and particularly attentive. The buffet breakfast is a delight for morning gourmets, and theirbumbleberry pie is to die for.
