High quality museum offering guided tours to discover impressionist and post-impressionist paintings
A high-quality museum featuring Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings, including works by Renoir, Degas and Picasso. A fine collection of 19th-century American painters, including John Singer Sargent and, above all, Winslow Homer. In fact, the museum has a special relationship with the latter painter, as it has been running the Homer Studio tour at Prout's Neck on Cape Elizabeth since 2013. All tours are guided and depart from the Portland Museum of Art - we'll take you there by shuttle bus.
