A large, lively park in East Portland, ideal for strolling along the ocean and hosting concerts and festivals.
This large park east of Portland allows you to walk in front of the ocean. It's the place where the locals gather every weekend to relax or unwind: some people go cycling, kayaking, others cross-country skiing (the winter of course). You can even picnic on its tables or lawns. In the summer, the park is particularly lively as many concerts and festivals are held. It is also where East End Beach, the downtown beach, is located. Congress Street, Portland's main street, begins on the Eastern Promenade.
