WINSLOW HOMER STUDIO

Completely renovated studio offering a guided tour of the museum to discover some photos on the life of the painter and several works.
This is the only opportunity to enter the very hushed world of Prouts Neck: a visit to the Studio of the painter Winslow Homer, who lived and worked here from 1883 to 1910. The studio has been completely renovated to recreate the space as it was when Homer worked here. There are also a few photos depicting the life of the painter, as well as several reproductions of his works painted here. But the main show remains the view of the ocean and this wild and beaten coast. The tour starts at the Portland Museum of Art - after a guided tour of the museum.
