TWO LIGHTS STATE PARK
Two Lights State Park with a lighthouse to direct boats offering a tour to Cape Elizabeth Point
Since 1961, Two Lights State Park has welcomed visitors from Maine and the surrounding region. Its name derives from the two lighthouses, Cape Elizabeth Lights, built in 1828 and positioned on either side of the park to guide ships. Today, only one of the towers is still standing and active. Edward Hopper depicted it in his painting The Lighthouse at Two Lights. The view of Casco Bay from the top is breathtaking. To reach the State Park, take Route 77, then turn onto Two Lights Road, towards the tip of Cape Elizabeth.
