PROUTS NECK
Small, very private community on a piece of land facing the sea in Cape Elizabeth, reserved for authorized persons only
This is a very private site, to which only authorized persons have access... Prouts Neck is a small community that settled at the beginning of the 20th century on this piece of land facing the sea. Little by little, houses are being built and everyone comes to enjoy their piece of the ocean. The painter Winslow Homer settled there. Unfortunately, the community decided to privatize the peninsula. Today, on Black Point Road, we come up against a barrier and we can no longer see the beautiful houses. The only way to get in is to visit the Winslow Homer Studio.
