Old Orchard Beach Pier with casinos, attractions and many shops to eat or buy souvenirs

The Old Orchard Beach pier was built at the end of the 19th century. Originally made of steel, the pier has been restored many times to withstand weather and fire. By 1900, casinos and attractions for young children were being added to the pier, making Old Orchard Beach a must-see seaside resort on the U.S. East Coast. Today, the pier is home to a number of stalls offering food and souvenirs, but housed in shacks that don't detract from its historic character.
