This welcoming restaurant has been a fixture in Brattleboro for some twenty years. The founders handed over to young chef Zachary Corbin in 2012. The Vermont-born chef modernizes classics such as filet de boeuf au poivre and magret de canard sauce bigarade. He also explores unlikely, but no less tasty, avenues. All in all, it's a rather successful meal, to be enjoyed under the canvases of contemporary artists on display for a few weeks. For oyster lovers, head next door to Peter Havens' Oyster Bar.
