A quality that characterizes many of the addresses in the Alsace region is without doubt the remarkable, verdant setting that catches the eye when you look out of the window. Not quite yet in the Sundgau region, just a short drive from Mulhouse, Le Coquelicot welcomes you to its walls, which smell of local produce. Traditional taste reigns supreme on the menu of dishes served in a spacious room bathed in pleasant light. Beef carpaccio with pistou is a good starter, followed by a gourmet plate of smoked duck breast and duck foie gras. Breaded pork filet mignon with fine mustard will leave a lasting impression. If you don't know what to choose, a range of made-to-measure menus is available. Alsace is renowned for its gastronomy, as a poppy flower will tell you.
