One of America's must-haves is the hamburger! According to local history, a former owner, Louis Lassen, was the inventor of this now world-famous sandwich. In 1900 (the establishment has been open since 1895!), a man in a hurry entered the restaurant and asked the owner to make him something hot that he could eat while walking. That's how the hamburger was born. Today the Louis' Lunch continues the tradition and offers hamburgers cooked the old fashioned way. »
