This is a must-see address in New Haven, Frank Pepe's pizza place. And it has to be said that Americans, many of whom are descended from Italians, don't joke about pizza (sometimes called pie here for pie). Frank Pepe, who founded this pizzeria in 1935, came from a small village in the Naples area. For the more daring, try the pizza with clams (white clam pie), a specialty of the house.
