LONG WHARF THEATRE
A centre for theatrical creation, which presents a high level of programming all year round. It has been an institution of the city since 1965, where light comedies as well as classical plays are performed. The Long Wharf Theatre is known in the community as the place where a multitude of original plays are created. Several dozen of them have been performed on Broadway, some of which have even won a Pulitzer Prize. Its stage has seen some of the biggest names, from Mary McDonnell to Sam Waterson, not forgetting Al Pacino.
