Located in the heart of the city, not far from Yale University, the New Haven Tourism Office is open to the public during business hours. Its website and app are also packed with useful information. You can also download Visit New Haven's attractive annual tourism magazine. There's another visitor center in the Long Wharf neighborhood, near the harbor, at 351 Long Wharf Drive. Yale University also has its own information center, useful for campus tours.
