Building with a glass and metal structure exhibiting a collection of paintings and objects from Britain.
An impressive collection of paintings and objects from Great Britain, from medieval times to the present day. The building, built in 1977, is interesting with its glass and metal structure. It was built by Louis Kahn. Works by the greatest British artists are on display, from J. M. W. Turner to Thomas Gainsborough and John Constable. Special interest is given to works from the 18th and 19th centuries.
