Historic lighthouse on a hillside in Newport as a backdrop for wedding photos.

What a sight this hillside lighthouse overlooking Narrangasett Bay! It is located at the very end of Ocean Drive and looks very picturesque... Its historic construction was completed in 1890. Unfortunately, it is not open to the public, but seeing it is an experience in itself. Set on the rocks, it is swept by the ocean on windy days. This lighthouse, which looks like it came straight out of a romantic movie, is very popular among couples, many of whom use it as a backdrop for their wedding photos!
