Housed in Vernon Court, a sublime mansion as only Rhode Island knows how to make them, this museum is entirely devoted to the art of American illustration. The collection features works produced between 1865 and 1945, by renowned artists such as Norman Rockwell. The visit is worthwhile just to discover Vernon Court, whose architecture is inspired by an 18th-century French château.
