A 5.6 km trail offering an ideal route to enjoy the view of billionaires' homes.
This 5.6-kilometre trail has been laid out along the cliff face overlooking the south-eastern part of the Newport peninsula. It takes 2.5 hours to walk the entire length and enjoy views of billionaires' mansions. You'll pass through private estates, whose gates close at nightfall. Start and finish points are served by the RIPTA trolley. You can also choose to walk only part of the route. The most famous section starts at the 40 Steps, at the foot of The Breakers, and runs up to Ruggles Avenue.
