Chez Lapin stands out from other tourist restaurants, all lined up here, by the quality of its dishes. A little more expensive than the competitors, but the regional specialities are respectable, and accompanied by carefully prepared sauces and well-cooked vegetables. Beautiful terrace and interior room in a very authentic 16th century building. The rabbit, of course, in cassolette or the roasted octopus, well cooked are to be enjoyed. Be careful, the service can be uneven on busy days: in this case, you must know not to be impatient.

If there's one thing that annoys me, it's scamming people, especially when you're tourists. 1. Late opening time: they were supposed to open at 12:30, they did at 12:45. 2. Served late: we were among the first to arrive. Other tables were served before us even though we had ordered before them. And strangely these served tables were made up of Portuguese... 3. Dishes with a basic flavor: the pasta is bland. We tested the pasta from the sea. The same taste as when you make it yourself... 4. Service 0: the highlight of the show. The waiter was unfriendly, not even a hello, he ignored us when we placed the order or walked away while we were talking to him... The "cover" (bread, olives, sauce) was not offered but placed on the table without explanation. After a search, Portuguese law stipulates that the restaurateur MUST inform the customer! But the worst part of it all: at the time of the bill, they forced us to pay all at once when we wanted to pay in 3 instalments (we were 3). I went to another waitress to ask if this was normal and she didn't seem to be okay with what he did. But the latter explained to him I don't know what reason. And we were charged twice for the cover even though we only took one. So if I can advise you something: FLEE!!

Testamos a massa do mar. Serviço 0: o destaque do show.
