Charming guesthouse well located in Porto, with clean, comfortable rooms, some facing the Douro and overlooking Gaia.
A charming guesthouse in an excellent location with eight comfortable, clean but not very large rooms. They are spread over four floors and have an elevator. Some of them have the advantage of facing the Douro and have a superb view of Gaia. The owners are very attentive and give the best advice to facilitate their guests' stay. The fantastic breakfast is served in a small room at a time of your choosing. The doors close at 1am, after which it's impossible to get in.

We stayed in Guest House Douro in 2009 for the first time and were seduced by the quality of this establishment and professionalism of Carmen and Joao, its owners. We are dated 3 times from this quaint and tenons share our enthusiasm for this establishment which offers more than a quality accommodation and a real service worthy of marked prices. Note that breakfast is EXCEPTIONAL and largely higher than what you can find hotels as well 4° on quality produce on both attentive service and very professional of Joao. An ideal destination in Porto, a perfect location and much more than a quality accommodation, Carmen and Joao receive you like friends!
