The decor is sober and tasteful, inspired by the history of painting. The staff is friendly and efficient. The establishment has a parking lot (for a fee of €7.50/day) with charging stations for electric vehicles. Nearby is the Quinta da Macierinha park and its romantic museum with beautiful views of the city and the Douro.
