This hotel, built in 1880, allows you to experience the luxury of yesteryear at affordable prices. Everything from this splendid era has been preserved: imperial rooms with high ceilings and moldings, rich woodwork, gleaming chandeliers, a restaurant with white tablecloths and elegant tableware. The life of a castle in a way, but for a reasonable price (especially during the low season). Fiquei no terceiro andar, uma das funcionárias da limpeza é surda (presumo) por causa do aparelho que ela tinha, quando bateram na porta dissemos que não, ela ainda entrou no quarto pelo menos 2 vezes durante a nossa estadia, uma das aqueles vezes meu marido estava tomando banho com a porta do banheiro aberta, acho que o hotel deveria dar ferramentas melhores para ela trabalhar melhor e essas coisas não acontecem. Em geral o hotel é agradável e tem um bom atendimento na recepção.

Right in the centre of Lisbon, close to shops and tour buses. Very old world glamour. Velvet, leather suites like going back in time. Excellent bar, great buffet breakfast, helpful staff, room a little small but adequate. Other larger suites available which looked stunning they are renovating thier roof terrace which will be amazing. Excellent stay and service.

Chambre sobre et fonctionnelle, vue depuis la chambre donnant sur une bâtisse abandonnée (pas terrible mais on a passé nos journées dehors), petit déjeuner correct sans plus (le jus de fruits pourrait être fait à partir de fruits frais, ce n'est pas le cas), l'emplacement est parfait dans le centre ville (rue piétonne, métro à 2 minutes, pont Luis à 5 minutes, etc), le personnel, dont certains parlent français comme Antonio à la réception, est attentionné et serviable.
